Meet the Authors
Michael Fraidenburg and Terry Teale, highly experienced mediators with over two decades in the field, have a proven track record of resolving diverse conflicts, from complex workplace disputes to emotional family quarrels, including facilitating consensus among large groups.
Michael, the principal of The Cooperation Company, is a Certified Mediator recognized by the Washington Mediation Association. He teaches conflict resolution for the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County, WA and the Northwest Environmental Training Center, contributing to the skill development of professionals. His expertise extends to prominent organizations, like the US Bureau of Land Management and the Puget Sound Partnership.
Terry, the principal of Heart of the Matter Mediation Services, is a certified senior mediator, family mediator, multi-party mediator, and collaborative negotiations specialist. She, too, is an instructor in conflict resolution for the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County, WA. With a 30-year career in public service focused on achieving consensus around public policy issues, Terry brings a unique perspective to mediation.
